Three days ago we had a really GREAT pastime in a lovely park-museum not far from Kirovograd. Once you are in this city in spring/summer/fall, don't omit the opportunity to visit
Khutir Nadia. There is a number of reasons for that:
1) It's only 15 kilometers away from Kirovograd, you will be quick at getting there;
2) The park is lovely (how much time have I mentioned about that already?)!
3) You can have a nice walk around, breath fresh air, drink spring water and leave the park pocket-full with oaks and apples if it's right the season for them;
4) If you go there on Saturday you will hear a lecture or several of them on how to be photographed on wedding when you are a couple (I guess one can write a booklet on
Wedding Photography tips). I think I should explain this point. Saturday is traditionally a day for marriages in Ukraine and many couples are looking for nice views as a background for their wedding pictures. Khutir Nadia is perfect for that. So when we were there on Saturday we saw about five couples at a time each with their personal photographer who was saying like that: Please, put your hand on his head, that's good; turn your head a bit right, please, yes this way; look natural; please, bend left but not too much; kiss your loved one but not too passionate, that's Okay; etc.
5) If you are a theater monger and you are interested in the history of Theater Art, Ukrainian in particular, this is a must-see place.
No more sidetracking, simply enjoy the pictures.
