Are You a Museum Fanatic? Then visit Kiev Natural-Science Museum

Kiev National Science Museum is located in the heart of Kiev, so even if you suddenly change up your mind for not visiting it you can simply walk around and enjoy ancient buildings.
Address: Bohdan Khmelnitskiy St, 15. You can get there by Kiev subway to the station 'Teatralnaya' By the way, this place might serve you as a starting point. Go one way and you are in the Botanical garden, go another and you'll find yourself in Vladimirskaya Street where there are the famous Golden Gates (not golden at all:)), Sofiyskiy Cathedral and that lovely cafe I told you.

Things to know about the Ukrainian subways. Here we use tokens to pay for each trip. One trip in Kiev underground will cost you 2 hryvnias that is a quarter of a dollar. The price for any trip is the same be it one station or a range of. This is the cost concerning Kiev metro only, in other cities like Kharkiv and Dnepropetrovsk it may differ but not that much. There are also season tickets (not sure for the right term) for certain number of trips for people who use metro very often. If you plan to stay in Keiv for some time you can buy one for convenience, otherwise opt for tokens.

An admission fee - 28 hryvnia for adults and ₴15 for children (don't you find that ₴ is something between $ and ?:)); it's $3.5 and $2. To convert dollars to hryvnias simply multiply $ to 8 to get ₴ or divide Ukrainian national currency to 8 to get yours.

What you are going to see: 4 huge floors of very many different interesting stuff from ancient pieces of jags, to tremendous skeletons of wales and wonderful stuffed animals/birds. If you want to take some pictures there you should pay extra money - 5 hryvnias. There are geological, palaeontological, zoological and botanical sections. I really enjoyed it but my kids did not, they were tired. We spent there from two to three hours! And by the end we were tired to take pictures, simply enjoyed the tour. There are some photos of what is there:

There are many behind-the-glass stands so that you can see where and how people lived many years ago. Poor they))

Oh, and this is the National Opera and Ballet Theater. I would like to visit it one day but I should take care about the tickets beforehand I think or be ready to pay a pretty some of money for what are left for that moment. The last is not my option.
If there are places you want to know more about or any other questions about Ukraine, feel free to leave them in your comments. I'll try to answer them, I promise.
